Frequently asked questions
What counts as a "search" for plan limits?
Each call to our
/v1/indexes/.../query endpoint counts as one search — this includes refinements (filter, sort, paginate) since each is a separate API request. Autocomplete keystrokes are debounced client-side by our pixel SDK. For Enterprise plans, we offer "unique customer intent" counting (distinct query per session per 5-min window) for closer alignment to value perception.
What happens after my 14-day trial?
No surprises. You'll receive email reminders at day 7, day 12, and day 14. At trial end, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan — your data stays, your indexes stay, but plan-specific features (Semantic Search, AI Coach apply) become read-only. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime to restore full functionality.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades are immediate. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Prorated charges apply for mid-cycle upgrades. All plan changes are self-service from your Settings page (Stripe billing arrives next sprint).
What if I exceed my plan limits?
Search keeps working — we never break your customer-facing site. You'll get a soft warning email at 80% and 100% of your monthly search quota. Indexing more products than your plan allows blocks new uploads (existing products keep working). User invites pause when team limit is reached. Overage billing for searches arrives with Stripe (next sprint) at €0.30–0.50 per 1,000 extra searches depending on plan.
Do you offer annual billing?
Annual billing with a 20% discount arrives soon. Lock in monthly pricing now and switch to annual when the option lands — your discount applies retroactively for the remainder of the year.
Is Auto-Pilot really included on the Free plan?
Yes. Auto-Pilot runs the initial AI-powered setup of your catalogue on every plan, including Free. Higher plans differ in re-run frequency: Free is one-time at signup, Starter is monthly, Growth+ is unlimited.
What's included in "AI Coach apply"?
Our AI Coach analyses your search logs and surfaces recommendations: missing synonyms, catalogue gaps, ranking opportunities, morphology pairs, and behaviour-derived insights. On Free you see them; on Starter+ you can apply each with one click. The Coach uses your tenant data only — never trained across customers.
Do I need a credit card to start the trial?
No. Sign up with email only. We ask for payment details before your trial ends if you choose to continue on a paid plan. Forget to add a card? Account downgrades to Free, no surprise charges.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, fully self-service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle (no early termination, but no refunds for unused time either, per Terms). Your data is exportable for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted per our retention policy.
What about language support and morphology?
Smart morphology ships on every plan: diacritic handling, plural / singular detection, and compound word matching for the active language. Six languages are live today — Romanian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian — each with curated irregular plurals, accent / umlaut handling, and a self-growing vocabulary that learns from every client catalogue. Multi-language morphology unlocks on Growth and above. Pro+ tenants benefit from platform-trusted vocabulary auto-applied at onboarding: 1,600+ Skryx-validated singular/plural pairs land as synonyms at signup, no clicks required. How does auto re-ranking work on Pro+ plans?
The Skryx engine watches clicks on your search results and detects (query, product) pairs customers consistently prefer. High-confidence pairs that clear all safety gates (click volume, share-of-clicks, CTR threshold) get auto-applied as ranking rules with a CTR baseline snapshot. The RerankCircuitBreaker runs daily — if a rule's CTR drops more than 10% over the 3-day observation window, the rule reverts automatically and a Coach notification fires. Operator can override anytime from the Ranking Rules page. Pro+ only; opt-in per index.
Can I see what search earned me in revenue?
Yes — every paid plan ships with first-search-wins conversion attribution. The Search → Purchase dashboard shows the euro figure search earned you over any window, with vs-previous comparison and top queries by revenue. Pro+ also receives a weekly digest email on Mondays summarising last week's search-attributed revenue and top performers. CSV export of conversions is available from Starter+.
