Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies SmartKeep Solutions SRL ("Skryx") uses on skryx.io and the dashboard at app.skryx.io, and how you can manage your preferences. Read it together with the Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. They can be session (deleted when you close the browser) or persistent, first-party (set by skryx.io) or third-party. We also use equivalent technologies (localStorage, session identifiers).
2. The categories we use
| Category | Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, session, security (CSRF), load/routing, remembering your consent choices. | Necessary — cannot be disabled |
| Preferences | Remembering choices (language, layout). | Consent / legitimate interest |
| Analytics | Aggregate site-usage statistics to help us improve it. | Consent |
| Marketing | Used only if we run campaigns; currently minimal or none. | Consent |
Non-essential cookies are set only after you give consent in the cookie banner.
3. The search-widget cookie (on customer stores)
When a store uses the Skryx widget, it sets a first-party session cookie/identifier (e.g. skryx_sid) in the shopper's browser. Its role is strictly functional: it links the searches, clicks and conversions of the same session for relevance analytics. It contains no name or email and is not used for cross-site advertising. The store operator decides how to disclose it in its own cookie policy; tracking can be disabled via the `skryx_woo_tracking_enabled` filter in the WooCommerce plugin.
4. How to manage your preferences
You can change your choices at any time via the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer, or through your browser settings (block/delete cookies). Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break the dashboard.
5. Changes
We may update this policy. The version and date appear in the header.
