Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to all users of the Skryx Service. Its purpose is to keep the Service safe, lawful and reliable for everyone.

1. Prohibited content

Do not index, store or distribute through the Service any content that:

• is illegal, deceptive or fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy);
• is defamatory, abusive, harassing, or incites hatred or violence;
• contains malware, exploits or harmful code;
• contains special categories of data (GDPR Art. 9) or children's data without a lawful basis;
• promotes products/services unlawful in the relevant jurisdiction.

2. Prohibited conduct

• Unauthorised access to other users' systems, accounts or data; circumventing authentication, rate limits or tenant isolation.
• Penetration testing or vulnerability scanning without our prior written consent.
• (D)DoS attacks, flooding, or any deliberate overloading of the infrastructure.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling or extracting source code, except as permitted by law.
• Automated scraping of the Service beyond the documented APIs and limits.
• Reselling, sublicensing or offering the Service as a standalone utility without agreement.
• Using AI features to generate spam, disinformation or unlawful content.

3. Fair use and limits

Plans carry limits (products, searches, API calls, rate). Use the Service reasonably and within your plan. We may apply rate limits to protect stability for all users. Unusually heavy workloads may require a higher plan.

4. Account security

Keep your secret keys (sk_live_…) confidential; public keys (pk_live_…) are for the frontend. Do not expose secret keys in client-side code. Notify us immediately of any compromise.

5. Reporting abuse and vulnerabilities

Report abuse or security issues to hello@skryx.io (or privacy@skryx.io for personal data). We welcome responsible disclosure and will not pursue legal action for good-faith security research that complies with this policy.

6. Consequences

Breach of this AUP may lead to a warning, throttling, suspension or termination of the account, depending on severity, under the suspension section of the Terms. In urgent cases (e.g. an active attack) we may suspend immediately, with notice afterwards.
